“ This was our first time here since we were visiting from out of town. A great place to take vegans since there are clearly labeled options. Nadia served us and was knowledgeable about all of the ingredients. She was even able to give us recommendations and have the veggie couscous made vegan. All of the food tasted super fresh and was delicious vegetables, none of that fake meat stuff. The menu has clearly labeled gluten-free and vegan options plus tons for the meat eaters. My husband, our child, and I loved the food here. So much so that our kiddo was making plans to come back the next day. Loved the decor, loved the food, loved the people. ”

“ It goes beyond my understanding how this place does not have a line down the street for the food here. Not only the food, but the service was just fantastic. We started with the tea, that is beautifully presented and tastes perfectly minty (I ended up buying moroccan mint tea leaves before leaving San Antonio, it was soo good!!), the hummus came with a neat history lesson on what sets Moroccan hummus apart from middle eastern hummus, the tagine lamb was superb, but I was impressed overall with the pastilla. Never before have I tasted anything like it. Savory. Sweet. Spicy. Flaky.. Overall, a true pallet pleaser. I ended up seeking out the cook to compliment her personally. “ Talk about a hidden gem. This place is tucked away in a strip mall, that fits PERFECTLY into the area. Ordered the lamb kabobs, Moroccan House Salad, Fish sandwich, hot tea, baklava & Moroccan coffee. Let me start with the salad. So very fresh, light & delicious. The dressing is crisp & simple yet perfect for the diced cucumber, tomatoes & lettuce. This was refreshing and delicious. The lamb kabobs were nestled perfectly on a generous portion of saffron rice. So tasty, tender and filling. The lamb just melted in your mouth and each bite craved the next. The fish was crispy, battered nicely but light fresh and generously proportioned in the, I believe freshly made french roll. Normally, I would have wanted tartar sauce, but the simplicity of this made it so good. The hot tea & coffee are must tries. I could not get over how delightful each glass or cup full was. Other than iced tea, we get accustomed to what we believe is how tea should be had. Moroccan Bites flipped that for me. THIS is how tea should be. Order the baklava, but savor the coffee. While I ordered the Moroccan coffee, the owners recommended that next visit, I have the Saoudi Coffee. Challenge Accepted! ”

“ First time eating here. Beautiful place. Very colorful yet cozy. The food was amazing. Everything I ordered was perfect. From the Moroccon Jasmine tea to the meatballs with egg and tomato. The Harira soup was so delicious, I've never had anything like it. My wife ordered Egg plant appetizer then Lamb Shank with prune. The eggplant was served cold and was seasoned to perfection and the tecture was remarkable The prunes were delicate and moist. They melted in my mouth. My wife loved the lamb but not the prunes so I ate them. She enjoyed the lamb but to me it was average. Overall it was a wonderful experience and the staff was very helpful. Next time we are in town we will be back to try something else. ”

“ This place is by far my favorite restaurant. My family and I have been eating here for 15 years. The food is delicious, and the owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. We usually order lamb or goat dishes, and the meat is always so tender and flavorful. If you’re looking to try something unique and refreshing, try the carrots for an appetizer! No meal is complete without a pot of their mint tea. Make sure to treat yourself to one of their delicious house-made desserts while you’re at it, there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes and it’s always fresh. Truly worth a stop if you’re in San Antonio and deserving of repeat visits. ”

“ From the moment we walked in, and without ever having met her before, Wafae greeted my kids and me as if we were family. She was so kind and welcoming, and her staff were equally as friendly! I have spent much of the last year in Morocco, as my husband is Moroccan, and I can say that the food is as authentic as it gets stateside. My kids and I enjoyed the Lamb Shank tagine with apricots, Kefta (meatball) tagine, and the Zaalouk, all with bread - the way it is truly enjoyed in the Maghrib! We also ordered two Pastillas, but we were so stuffed, we each took bites and packed the rest to take home - absolutely delicious! Our meal was complemented by authentic Moroccan mint tea - a must for the full experience! I am so overwhelmed with joy to have such a wonderful place here near my children that reminds me of my new home, and one that will be a resource of amazing and truly authentic food for my husband to enjoy when he is finally able to come to Texas. The food was so flavorful without being heavy. The service was friendly and quick. We also got dessert. Just wow! We will be back on the weekend to try their weekend specials. ”
